I’ll be the first to ooh and ahh of the seasons’s hottest shoe trends, but when it comes down to it — call me boring — but I’m a sucker for simple, well-crafted footwear with an edge. Which explains why I’m getting all kinds of excited over Ariana Bohlin’s spring 2012 collection. One of her biggest collections yet, spring includes a handful of flat strappy sandals in a few color ways, a really nice flat boot, slip ons and a platform. Spring is available online at Anaise.

Do you wear clogs? I don’t, not often at least, but I”m loving Loeffler Randall’s new collection of Clogs ‘Heart LR’, launching today. This is a first for LR, and while I haven’t tried them out yet for comfort, it looks like LR should stay in the clog (or clogging?) business. All styles are hand crafted in the USA. Woo hoo! Happy Valentine’s Day BTW.

MaraisUSA always gets it right, and at an affordable price. Fall 2011 just arrived online and it’s one of my favorite collections so far. The Chelsea Boot ($145) grew a heel! Shop boots online here, and shoes online here.

Mohawk General Store opened in the Echo Park neighborhood of Los Angeles about a year ago, and since then I’ve been waiting for a fully-stocked online boutique to pop up. Kinda strange because I pretty much live right next door to Echo Park but by reading this blog you’ve probably noticed I have a thing for online shopping. Regardless, they’re online now so you (and I) can shop their neatly organized selection of shoes, accessories and home goods from designers like Slow and Steady Wins the Race, Mary Meyer and The Generic Man, all from the comforts of home or work or wherever you shop online.
