Shopping List: Rodarte for Opening Ceremony

by Tina on February 9, 2011

Rodarte for Opening Ceremony hit stores today. Pretty exciting. Well, sort of exciting, if you have tons of extra money in your clothing and accessory budget this month because the prices average about $400 a piece. The most ridiculous piece being a pair of $335 pajama pants. I’m not hating, I fancy the collection. Here’s my aspirational shopping list:

Pre-Order Pom Pom Heel $740

Drop Stitch Cardigan $405

Button Off Leggings $290 wouldn’t these be a fun DIY project?!

Floral Robe Dress $450

Roy Orbison Shades $220. I’m torn between these, and these.

Stained Gauzy Button Up $280

Craving Leopard Print Shoes…Help!

by Tina on April 13, 2010

I’m determined to purchase a pair of leopard print shoes this season, but am conflicted. I know they’re totally different shapes — but I can’t decide between these Ten Over Six Heels and Opening Ceremony Sandals. To heel or not to heel?

I need your help. Which pair would you choose?

This is crazy! Immediately after posting this I opened an email from Bird with a picture of these exact Ten Over Six Heels, and a note announcing that the first 10 orders tomorrow April 14, 1010 get 10% off w/ coupon code ‘SHOE10′. I know it’s only 10% …. but still ….

by Tina on August 3, 2009

openingceremonyheelsYes, fall arrivals are making their grand entrances. First up for FarFetch.com (via B Store) is Opening Ceremony’s collection of suede and leather heels.

Last season we were obsessed with their grommet crossed cardigan, and this fall it’s all about their suede grommet ankle boot (second row on the left) — $369 of shoe ecstasy!

Alexander Wang Moves into Opening Ceremony

by Tina on April 17, 2009

alexanderwang
Great news on the Alexander Wang front, the coveted NYC based designer is set to open up a mini-shop in Opening Ceremony’s LA boutique this coming week. This will be the designer’s first shop-in-shop, taking over where Mayle left off. The shop will house Wang’s entire ready-to-wear collection and newest line T, with limited edition styles set to pop up in fall.
