NY Fashion Week started on Friday and some our favorites (Rachel Comey, United Bamboo, Karen Walker) have already shown their collections. Like any well-rounded fashion fanatic, we’re just as excited about the shoes and accessories stomping down the runway than we are about the clothes–but it can prove difficult to revel in the details of a shoe or necklace when you can barely see it. Thankfully we can turn to NY Mag’s great feature where you can look up close at some of the shows’ best “details”, like the embellished toe on these Via Spiaga shoes.

As we sit here biting our nails anxiously awaiting the arrival of runway pics and videos from some of our favorite outposts (thank you all), we can’t help but wish we were in NY ourselves, but we can’t have it all now can we? Here are some highlights from this past weekend at NY Fashion Week:
