There’s nothing like a nice full inbox in the morning to cheer a gal up. Among my emails was one from New High (M)art, a 300sq ft concept shop out of Los Angeles, introducing their new webstore. The store operates somewhat like an art gallery for fashion, and rotates their “store moments” every 6-8 weeks. The site is pretty simple, clean, and has good sized images. The best part is: the new website allows you to shop pieces from past and current “moments”, like Alex and Chloe, PowerHaus, Brian Lichtenberg and Costume Dept.

Description: “New High (M)art was founded in October, 2007 by co-owners Miho Ikeda and Richard James Brewer (“T-RIK”). Looking to showcase undiscovered fashion talent, celebrate the already-established and reshape the Los Angeles retail landscape, they chose a petite 300 SF storefront in Chinatown to stage a series of temporary retail installments. In August, 2009 New High (M)art moves to a new location in the Los Feliz shopping district. This much larger venue will have a main sales floor that will function as a true select shop as well as a second installment room and parking lot for event production.”
