Maryam Nassir Zadeh
Return visitors know I have a thing for Maryam Nassir Zadeh. But I don’t see how one can’t have a thing for them. Their jewelry selection is unprecedented and the shop is curated beautifully. It’s a dream. They’re having a sample sale this weekend, and if I’ve ever been crazy enough to fly to NY for a sale, now would be the time. But thankfully they’re also having an online sale with 30% off all clothing and 20% off jewelry.
I was hanging on to every last bit of summer until I clicked over to Maryam Nassir Zadeh and their amazing fall arrivals got me all kinds of excited for the new season. They just got in the extraordinary pieces from Isabel Marant, Cosmic Wonder, Golden Goose, Lauren Manoogian, Bodkin (I’m obsessed with their Braided Sweater), Jeremy Laing, Rachel Comey and so much more. Here’s my short shopping list. I say short because I want everything, but after editing it down:
1. Bodkin’s Braided Sweater is my #1 wish list item. I’ve spotted it a a few places, and can’t wait to live in it all season.
2. How perfect is this classic bag by Golden Goose?! It’s very pricey, but the shape and color are dreamy.
3. Leave it to Isabel Marant to make one of the hottest/trendiest pant styles right now so effortless and elegant.
4. This Lauren Manoogian necklace will go with everything, and make a statement every time.
5. It’s just a coin purse, but the most adorable coin purse! And at $90, it’s a great way to own a slice of Cosmic Wonder.
6. Did I mention I’m obsessed w/ Lauren Manoogian? These leather cuffs are so simple, yet amazing and versatile.

Maryam Nassir Zadeh introduced me to Confetti System a while back, and since then I’ve been smitten with their ability to turn simple materials like silk and paper, into beautiful (but still simple) centerpieces for your neck…or in this case, party. Their silk and leather twist and double strand necklaces had me at hello — but I’m planning a bday fiesta and think I might need one of their pinatas and/or blind folds. Better idea: wouldn’t it be cool to go to a party and find these necklaces inside the pinata?!

New York based boutique Maryam Nassir Zadeh is one of my daily visits online, but until now the only way to browse was by designer which was a challenge, and they didn’t have a shopping cart. Just like Project No.8, they’ve stepped it up and made the site much more online shopping friendly. Just what you need right?! Now you can shop by category (like new arrivals and sale), designer, or you can search for something specific and have it shipped directly to you. After you pay of course.

Pros: The images are huge. This can be considered a con because they’re almost too inviting. The categories are great and I love the search function.
Cons: There seems to be less available online now.
And for all you fashion buyers out there, they have a ‘showroom’ section where you can browse all the designers they represent.
It was love at first sight (or in this case click, because we’ve yet to visit their boutique) when we came across Maryam Nassir Zadeh, a relatively nascent boutique in New York City’s Lower East Side.

The boutique stocks a mix of well-edited clothing from designers like Acne, Isabel Marant and Susan Cianciolo, plus a ton of artwork.

Their selection of both new and vintage jewelry is captivating, especially Marion Vidal’s modern architectural beaded necklaces and roped necklaces and cuffs. Can’t wait to ooh and aah at the boutique in person, but for now, their website will keep us busy — and broke.
