With all this talk of boutiques having their own house labels, I’m not sure how Gargyle’s new collection slipped under my radar. Now in its second season — seriously, how did I miss this?! — Summer ’10 just arrived online and it’s full of fun summery prints, a handful of pastels, and the most gorgeous ‘red poppy’ color.
I’m not sure why, but I didn’t do any shopping this season at Gargyle. But they just sent out their summer sale alert, and I’m glad I waited. There are many amazing pieces freshly marked 30% off, plus take an additional 10% off sale items w/ code ‘SUMMER10′.

These bold, eclectic shapes are created by designer and fine artist Hanna Sandin. Her label SAMMA is composed of an assortment of unique, hand-made necklaces, each with an unusual selling point. For example, her bold Big, Bold and Beautiful Loop Brass necklace (which we’ve been obsessing over for awhile now) can be worn tied up in a ball, or flattened out. Stand up Comedy stocks the line, and now so does Gargyle. They just received their first shipment and their selection is great!
