I don’t post about menswear often, but when lookbooks combine both genders so perfectly like Won Hundred’s did for fall 2010, it works out perfectly. I’m obsessed with this entire collection, available for purchase NOW online at Totokaelo.

New York Fashion Week triggers a change of seasons in my current wardrobe. Yes, designers are showing spring 2011, but this September event always marks the beginning of fall. As for fall ’10 trends, I’m loving everything camel colored, most things military-inspired, and the point of this post: capes. Dot + Cape are not two words I would typically associate with one another, but then I went in for my daily click over to Creatures of Comfort and immediately connected with this Sarah Dot Cape, one of the few new arrivals from their in house collection. So comfy + roomy + whimsical. I’ll be honest, I think it’s a wee bit overpriced at $450, but I still want it. Check out more fall arrivals here…
I was hanging on to every last bit of summer until I clicked over to Maryam Nassir Zadeh and their amazing fall arrivals got me all kinds of excited for the new season. They just got in the extraordinary pieces from Isabel Marant, Cosmic Wonder, Golden Goose, Lauren Manoogian, Bodkin (I’m obsessed with their Braided Sweater), Jeremy Laing, Rachel Comey and so much more. Here’s my short shopping list. I say short because I want everything, but after editing it down:
1. Bodkin’s Braided Sweater is my #1 wish list item. I’ve spotted it a a few places, and can’t wait to live in it all season.
2. How perfect is this classic bag by Golden Goose?! It’s very pricey, but the shape and color are dreamy.
3. Leave it to Isabel Marant to make one of the hottest/trendiest pant styles right now so effortless and elegant.
4. This Lauren Manoogian necklace will go with everything, and make a statement every time.
5. It’s just a coin purse, but the most adorable coin purse! And at $90, it’s a great way to own a slice of Cosmic Wonder.
6. Did I mention I’m obsessed w/ Lauren Manoogian? These leather cuffs are so simple, yet amazing and versatile.

I’ve long been a fan of New York based Snoozer Loser’s charming custom prints and easy style, but my little crush has gotten serious. They’ve released images of A/W ’10 and it’s full of circle skirts, playful jumpers and the most precious scissor print in varying navy/ivory/gold color combos.
Titania Inglis apprenticed under big names Stærk, ThreeAsFour, and Jean Yu before venturing out with her own label. A great investment of her time and dedication, as her experience shines throughout this sophomore collection. Fall 2010, set to hit stores in July, explores drape, volume, and angle through an assortment of six mix-and-match pieces that can go from both day to night and summer to winter.
According to her Website
The underlying element of sustainability is a given for a designer who looks towards minimalism as a matter of taste, as well as a method to avoid waste. Each piece is sewn by expert seamstresses in New York’s garment district out of vegetable-tanned leather or organic fabrics.
As many of you may know, I’m crazy over Etten Eller’s incredibly delicate jewelry collection. Designer Tini Bloom just sent over a sneak peek of her newest Fall/Winter 2010 collection which utilizes reclaimed brass bars dangling delicately from fine gold chains, as well as casted brass snake vertebrate featured in a surprising elegant way. So refined…I’ll never think of snake vertebrate the same again! Here are my favorites, available for purchase in the fall:

I recently got a sneak peek of Mociun’s Fall 2010 collection ‘The Space in Between:A Topographers Journey ‘. It’s full of Caitlin Mociun’s signature prints, but missing a couple of her best sellers like the tie front dress, which is a good thing. While it’s a great style and I own one, it’s nice to see the addition of a few new cuts.
The collection is refreshing with a handful of multidimensional dresses and beautifully lined jackets, but most notably the two toned footless tights featured in every look. They’ve made it to the top of my Fall ’10 wish list, which needs a little taming! But they retail +/- $99 which isn’t too bad for a pair of tights you’ll wear all the time.
Mociun’s Fall 2010 collection will be available for purchase online at Mociun.com.
I’ve been raving about insanely-creative designer duo RosenMunns since they debuted their first collection in 2007, and the collection seems to gets better with age — their Fall 2010 is no exception. Highlights this season are a floor-length long sleeved dress in an addictive wood grain print, a bright blue floral tank, patchwork sweat pants in a variety of color combos…actually the entire collection is a highlight. If I love fall 2010 this much, I’m scared to see what happens next season.
RosenMunn’s Spring 2010 collection is currently available at Anica Boutique.
