According to British label Brass “For season 5; SS11 focuses on simple shape and familiar garments with ‘quirky’ attention to detail. Inspiration was primarily drawn from mass immigration in the 19th Century to Ellis Island.” I’ve admired Brass since the beginning and this season trumps the rest. The mix + match of print and texture, along with a few ‘quirky’ features like the scarf detailing seen on a skirt and dress (pictured below) work beautifully together.
