Munich based designer Saskia Diez won me over quickly. I was smitten after setting eyes on a ring from this season's Love collection: a delicate gold band with a small heart, only seen from the side. I was honestly surprised at how moved one could be by such a simple yet thoughtful piece of jewelry, but that sums up Diez's work in a nutshell. Saskia Diez launched her eponymous collection in 2006 after a few stints working under the wings of a number of famous jewelers. Her entire collection involves bracelets, rings and necklaces - all intelligently composed of a long list of materials: 18k gold, silver, oxidized silver and glass stones (some of her most recognizable materials). All in all: Lovely. Available online at Style Server and Stand up Comedy. *heart ring (SB favorite): available at Kabiri.
