This is one of the most adorable concepts. Miló is a Brooklyn-based brand created by Mireia López, that began with a collection of modern sweaters for girls, and soon after introduced the same effortless styles for the grown up kind. Fall/Winter 2010-11 will be her first season for all ages, and includes a variety of masterful basics, with unexpected cuts and incredible detail. Each item is truly ageless, and if I had a little one I’d love to play dress up together w/ these pieces.

Thank you Una for consistently introducing me to new + exciting talent!

On a quest to find Snoozer Loser online, I happened upon this quaint little indie boutique Pretty Please Dear. Dressed in a black background with white and red highlights, this little gem carries a hand-picked selection of designers like Snoozer Loser (of course), Dusen Dusen, Mociun, and many designers I’ve never heard of. Like Orange, Worth, Audrey Cantwell, responsible for the tie-dyed top featured above, and more.

These Marais USA Kitten Heels and Criss-Cross Sandals are exactly what I’ve been looking for. Bright, girly and versatile. As always, the prices are great. The Kitten Heels are $102, and the Criss-Cross Sandals $74.

Anica boutique just posted three pieces of Basta swimwear online, but I’m currently fixated on the other new arrivals by Otto. Large acrylic necklaces delicately tied together with a piece of suede ribbon. Dreamy.

I’m not sure why, but I didn’t do any shopping this season at Gargyle. But they just sent out their summer sale alert, and I’m glad I waited. There are many amazing pieces freshly marked 30% off, plus take an additional 10% off sale items w/ code ‘SUMMER10′.

Petite perforated handbags, pouch necklaces, scarfs and even a belt pouch make up new designer Im:mortal’s ’10 collection ‘Future Primitive.’ Available for purchase online at Frances May. <– I love this store! Leather pouch necklaces seem to be quite the trend right now. Great if you’re into crystals like Spencer, or carrying ganja around your neck. I’m more interested in these amazing handbags:

According to Im:mortal’s Website
“Each piece we create is a token of our appreciation for the natural world around us. We draw from nature, from the places that are sacred to us. Inspired by old-world techniques, we craft artifacts that unite form with function to serve the modern-day sage.”

Maryam Nassir Zadeh introduced me to Confetti System a while back, and since then I’ve been smitten with their ability to turn simple materials like silk and paper, into beautiful (but still simple) centerpieces for your neck…or in this case, party. Their silk and leather twist and double strand necklaces had me at hello — but I’m planning a bday fiesta and think I might need one of their pinatas and/or blind folds. Better idea: wouldn’t it be cool to go to a party and find these necklaces inside the pinata?!

Titania Inglis apprenticed under big names Stærk, ThreeAsFour, and Jean Yu before venturing out with her own label. A great investment of her time and dedication, as her experience shines throughout this sophomore collection. Fall 2010, set to hit stores in July, explores drape, volume, and angle through an assortment of six mix-and-match pieces that can go from both day to night and summer to winter.

According to her Website
The underlying element of sustainability is a given for a designer who looks towards minimalism as a matter of taste, as well as a method to avoid waste. Each piece is sewn by expert seamstresses in New York’s garment district out of vegetable-tanned leather or organic fabrics.

Discover more about Titania through her blog, Fade to Green, or online at titaniainglis.com. Fall 2010 featured here will be available for purchase at Eva in New York and online.
