brassWe would love to introduce you to Brass, London-based designer Zoe Watt’s new collection of womenswear. Born and bred in Scotland, designer Zoe Watt studied Fashion at the University of Middlesex before embarking upon a Masters degree at Central St. Martins, London. After her studies she worked with names such as Boudicca and Peter Jensen. SS ’09 is based on a series of her signature geometric shapes, with a play on 60’s ‘Mod’ and ‘skinhead’ styles. New Arrivals: Reborn

Have you ever stalked an online boutique so much you find yourself checking back weekly for new arrivals, even if the newest item was posted over four months ago? Well I have. I wrote about Reborn (a Montreal based boutique) a while back, and since then have anxiously awaited their fall ’08 updates. Thankfully, I checked my email yesterday to find an email from Reborn, telling me they’ve re-stocked their online shop with new arrivals, completely–this time they have a few handbags and accessories! Here are a few favorites.

Priestess NYC

priestesslookbook4Priestess NYC is Cody Ross’ fairly new NY Based (did I need to include that?) label. Ross is known for his kitschy designs and directional prints, most recently his jewelry seen featured here. You couldn’t guess by looking at his designs, but Ross was a financial analyst before starting Priestess. With a BSc from the London School of Economics, as well as credentials in pattern-construction + design from London’s Central Saint Martins, Ross happily turned in his analysis for a career in fashion. Smart career move? We think so. Visit Priestessnyc.com more more information and additional lookbook pictures.
