If you’re looking for some (or all) of the best Memorial Day Sales, I know just the place…

Why yes, they are! True story, I was just about to post this starry Creatures of Comfort Skirt (after which you and I would then continue to lust after it), and lo and behold I took my daily Refinery29 Reserve ‘stroll’ and as luck would have it, Hampden Clothing is offering $200 off $400 and $400 off $800. Um, amazing! And my point — they carry the skirt! Plus tons of Alexander Wang, Jerome Dreyfuss, Equipment, ALC, Vanessa Bruno and so many more designers that I love, but don’t have the patience to list. This is one of the best Refinery29 Reserve Deals in a while — and there have been some good ones. So, hop to it people, and Resvere your half-off voucher…
I’ll be the first to ooh and ahh of the seasons’s hottest shoe trends, but when it comes down to it — call me boring — but I’m a sucker for simple, well-crafted footwear with an edge. Which explains why I’m getting all kinds of excited over Ariana Bohlin’s spring 2012 collection. One of her biggest collections yet, spring includes a handful of flat strappy sandals in a few color ways, a really nice flat boot, slip ons and a platform. Spring is available online at Anaise.
Do you wear clogs? I don’t, not often at least, but I”m loving Loeffler Randall’s new collection of Clogs ‘Heart LR’, launching today. This is a first for LR, and while I haven’t tried them out yet for comfort, it looks like LR should stay in the clog (or clogging?) business. All styles are hand crafted in the USA. Woo hoo! Happy Valentine’s Day BTW.
If you live in San Francisco and love to shop, then chances are you’ve been to downtown boutique Metier. And if you don’t live in SF, or do and don’t get out much, you can still shop at Metier. More on that in a second. They stock a ridiculously gorgeous collection of estate jewelry, as well as collections from cult favorite Isabel Marant, handbag genius Jerome Dreyfuss, Raquel Allegra, Rag & Bone, Vanessa Bruno, Alexander Wang and many more. One customer coined their selections as “Modern with a vintage edge.” But they’re so much more. Metier is that super cool, way-too-nice-it’s-hard-to-believe girl everyone wants to be friends with. And when it comes to clothing boutiques, Metier has some serious tenure. Having just celebrated an impressive 20 years in business, they’re one of the oldest boutiques in SF, and it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see why. Proving that great things come to those who wait, after years as a strictly brick-and-mortar outpost, Metier has ventured online. And their site is really, really good. Well-styled images meet beautifully-curated items meet a clean, easy-to-shop interface. All you could ever ask for really.
And here’s the kicker: Owner Sheri Evans (pictured right below) was kind enough to answer six of our questions!
Warning: You may love Metier even more after reading this.
