My recent introduction to Alexa Galler’s collection Eighteenth couldn’t have come at better time. I’ve been on the hunt for some new soft & silky basics that provide more than the average tee, and Alexa Galler’s tops do just that. She manages to marry the simplicity of a basic tee with bold, innovative detailing typically found outside the realm of this predictable staple.

With a focus on simple, asymmetrical cut out silhouettes, spring 2010 consists of six shapes, each available in black or white and composed of a lightweight rayon/polyester jersey blend.

Since these are images from Spring 2010, styles won’t be available for another couple months. I believe Anica in San Francisco will carry the label.

I agree, I recently discovered “Eighteenth’s” designs and fell in love, then on a trip to L.A. I saw them as well in some very cool stores. Just when you think everything has been done with the “t shirt” along comes a great new designer!
These shirts really are creative and are a fun way to add something to your outfit. This shows that a simple t-shirt can be so much more! I can’t wait to buy them!
the designer is pretty awesome too!!!
