Honestly, most of the smaller labels we write about are simply discovered on our daily trips to some of our favorite boutiques. Store owners and buyers spend hours on end searching for new talent, so we just utilize their research. Case in point: the lovely home grown line Galah by designer and patternmaker Lenna Kai Peterson. La Rousse is having a great 20% off sale right now (just enter code “INDUSTRY20″), and when narrowing down which Mary Meyer piece to snag on sale, we were blind sighted by one of Lenna’s Puff Sleeve Dresses.

We dug around a little online and found her adorable blog, where she posts updates on events, collections and even posted behind the scene images from her Spring 2010 collection. We love the simplicity and wearability of the collection, and the subtle detailing. Here are some images from Spring 2010.

Thanks for your comment
what a lovely site! In answer to your question about my Barneys Leopard cardigan, I got it nearly 4 yrs ago. But you can always try their Co Op stores for replicas, maybe? Good luck!
That theme party sounds like a lot of fun.

Thanks for getting back to me! Too bad about the cardigan:(. That’s awesome you’ve had it 4 years. I love to find fun pieces like that that will last forever and go with so much. It’s really cute.
I like the dress and also the model.
